CaP Democratie is a group of citizens united around a single objective:

Promoting citizen involvement in political decision-making.

This mission derives from their shared vision: A world where everyone can participate equitably in political reflection and decision-making for the common good of the present and the future, based on collective wisdom.

In more detail, their objectives are as follows:

• To campaign for the establishment in Wallonia of a permanent system of assemblies made up of citizens selection at random. These assemblies will be largely inspired by the ‘Permanent Dialogue in the German-speaking Community’ as it has existed since 25 February 2019.
• Strengthen the ability of all citizens to take part in participatory mechanisms
• Raise awareness among citizens of the importance of getting involved in politics in order to strengthen the democratic system
• Work for a revision of the Constitution to enable citizens to take political decisions
• Campaign for the establishment of sub-regional assemblies made up of citizens chosen by lot
