The organisation aims at fostering portuguese democracy, through promoting processes of citizen engagement. It is focused on: promotion of civic deliberation in Portugal, public discussion of reforms of the PT political system and the promotion of a more active citizenship. Results have been delivered directly to the president of the country. Their activity is divided into three fundamental areas:
