Citizens’ Panel on Intergenerational Fairness - First session

Citizens’ Panel on Intergenerational Fairness - First session

Description

On 12–14 September, 150 citizens from all EU Member States will gather in Brussels for the first session of the European Citizens’ Panel on Intergenerational Fairness.

They will deliberate on how to make the EU fair for current and future generations, exploring ways to bridge generational divides, balance age-group needs, and build a sustainable future.

By November 2025, the Panel will present recommendations feeding into the European Commission’s new Strategy on Intergenerational Fairness.

Join the live web stream of the plenary sessions on Friday from 14:30 to 16:45 and Sunday from 12:00 to 13:30 at the Citizens' Engagement Platform: https://citizens.ec.europa.eu/index_en
