The forum will bring together members of the EU-CIEMBLY Team and Policymakers at the European level to reflect on and discuss the preliminary conclusions of the project. Each roundtable will feature a presentation of the main project’s findings achieved to date, serving as a basis for structured and open dialogue among the policymakers and other participants on key issues such as intersectionality, equality, inclusion, and deliberative democracy.

EU-CIEMBLY responds to the EU’s call ‘Standing up for democracy’, focusing on protecting EU democratic processes from foreign manipulation, enhancing detection and analysis, assessing societal impacts, expanding counter-manipulation solutions, and addressing theoretical tensions.

The project is dedicated to advancing the principles of intersectionality, inclusiveness, and equality within the realm of European democracy. Our initiative responds to the growing need for new forms of citizen participation and deliberation in EU political life, particularly through the establishment of an EU Citizens’ Assembly.
