Launch of the OECD Deliberative Democracy Database 2023
Description
The OECD Deliberative Democracy Database is an international compendium of representative deliberative processes and institutions from all over the world. This database was the basis for the OECD Catching the Deliberative Wave Report and it was last updated in September 2021. Since then, the deliberative wave has continued to grow, expanding to new countries, and reaching more and more citizens worldwide.
On December 7th, the OECD will publish the updated Deliberative Democracy Database which includes more than 160 new cases from September 2021 to September 2023.
Join us for the online launch which will include a presentation by the OECD of new trends and cases, as well as lightning talks from practitioners that were involved in three new cases that are part of the updated database: Mostar (Bosnia Herzegovina), Montenegro, and Bogota (Colombia).
