The Division of Elections and Participatory Democracy of the Council of Europe is currently inviting representatives of local authorities and civil society organisations for the second School on Participatory Democracy in Türkiye, which will take place in Ankara. The school training cycle, which starts on 2 October, comprises an online introduction meeting, a 5-day onsite training in Ankara, a training needs assessment, several follow-up in-depth trainings and a closure meeting in spring 2024. It is organised jointly with the Association of Civil Society Development Centre – STGM from Türkiye, within the framework of the EU-funded project entitled "Monitoring Freedom of Association”.

The School is open to Turkish participants, who want to broaden their practical knowledge on participatory standards and tools. For more information and registration:
