Bruno Avelar Rosa is a partner at Qantara Sports, a global consulting firm specializing in the sports sector, and an assistant professor at Universidade Lusófona (Lisbon, Portugal). He has served as an officer in local public administration (Barcelona Sports Institute, part of the Barcelona City Council) and in central administration (Portuguese Institute of Sport and the General Directorate of Health). Bruno is also an external expert for the European Commission on sports topics and a consultant for the Council of Europe. He has extensive experience in policy-making at local, sectoral, national, and international levels in the fields of sport, education, and health. He has been involved in the design and implementation of several strategic plans and programs. With a PhD in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, one of Bruno's main interests is the analysis and development of communities of practice through participatory approaches in various settings—both as part of the teaching-learning process in classrooms and as a method of engagement in policy-making.
