Bio
Working as a EU Project Manager at the Assembly of European Regions (AER), I overview the execution of EU-Belong. The initiative, co-funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund of the European Union (AMIF-2020-AG-CALL), is implemented in partnership with ten regional authorities from seven European countries (Romania, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria). Its aim is to improve the socio-economic inclusion and migrants’ sense of belonging by developing and testing regional integration strategies that apply an intercultural and a multi-stakeholder approach.
Prior joining AER, I worked for nearly three years at CSR Europe, on the topic of business sustainability and social impact. I have an academic background in International Humanitarian Action, that allowed me to collect a wide range of experiences with NGOs such as SOS Children Villages in Indonesia, the Refugee Council in Australia and the Red Cross in Italy.
I am deeply passionate on the topic of migrants', asylum seekers' and refugees' integration, with a focus on employment and social inclusion.
