Floridea is Director of the non-profit cooperative cambiaMO | changing Mobility, Madrid – Spain. She mainly carried out the activity as research director on travel behaviour, evaluation, and gender approaches in mobility and climate change. Her main tasks include: facilitation in sharing knowledge (Communities of Practices), research, evaluation of the EU, European Investment Bank, International and National projects; participation such as Civil Society observer for cambiaMO to the climate negotiation during the United Nation Framework for Climate Change Conferences – UNFCCC (e.g. Global Stock Take-GST, Action Climate Empowerment-ACE, Global Goal in Adaptation-GGA; publication of academic papers in travel behaviour, gender and intersectional approach, accessibility, governance and stakeholders guidelines; direction of various research activities in EU innovation and action projects that includes: CLIMAS, SPINE, Amigos, and INDIMO on inclusion of digital Mobility solutions. She chaired the Transport Equity Analysis Cost Action (TU 1209) and very recently she was granted as coordinator of InclusiveSpaces HEurope Innovation action. In 2019 Floridea has been nominated EU diversity ambassador with the aim to promote the importance of having a diverse workforce in transport. She is an Associate Professor in Urban sustainability at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), Spain. She has a PhD in urban planning and transport at the ENPC-Paris-tech.
