Citizen Engagement and Deliberative Democracy for Climate Action in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector

What is citizen deliberation in practice? How can deliberative democracy be part of a professional training curriculum? A pedagogical guide for educators in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector is being released. The Guide sheds light on the barriers and opportunities of integrating deliberative practices in the VET sector. It focuses on climate activism as an expression of active citizenship, while it approaches citizen science as a bridge between deliberative democracy, citizen engagement and active learning in VET.

The GreenVETers project is co-financed by the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Union and will be implemented from April 2022 to April 2024.
