Paulo Rosa holds a Ph.D. in Digital Media and a Master degree in Environmental Management Systems both from the New University of Lisbon. He is a policy analyst at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre, where he supports the various activities of the Competence Centre on Participatory and Deliberative Democracy. Paulo has a strong hands-on experience in the design and development of innovative online platforms and applications for citizen engagement in science and policy making, in areas of risk governance and sustainability. He was directly involved in the selection and implementation of the multilingual digital platform of the Conference on the Future of Europe.
