The training features knowledge inputs about why participatory processes are worth setting-up, what forms they can take and what stages of the policy cycle they can best fit, as well as more practical note on how to plan a citizen engagement processes, how to recruit participants, what methods and facilitation techniques can be used.
After completing the course, you will:
- Have a comprehensive overview of the most important elements to consider when designing and implementing a participatory process;
- Be able to participate in an informed discussion about rationales, challenges, and opportunities of implementing participatory processes;

Be able to judge when to use participatory processes and for what purpose.
